Beautiful Burleigh Heads – Gold Coast, Australia
I was just looking through EzineArticles, (you can see me here – Bradley Davis) and I came across a great little article about Burleigh Heads. For those of you that have been to the Gold Coast, but didn’t make your way to Burleigh, you don’t know what you are missing out on! It is without doubt one of my favorite places on the Coast. Here is the article: By Susan Guthrie Looking for... [Read more]
Day 1 2011 On The Gold Coast
Well the first day of 2011 is almost over on the Gold Coast, and it is easy to say the weather was not a great start to the year. Most of the Gold Coast woke up to overcast and rainy conditions. Hopefully (fingers crossed) the weather will ease up a little to give the rest of QLD time to recover from the massive amount of rain we had fall in the last week of 2010. Read More →
Merry Christmas Gold Coast!
With Santa due to deliver the goods in just one more sleep, the big man in red may need a rain coat when he stops in on the Gold Coast! Rain has been forcast for Christmas and New Year’s Eve. According to the Weather Channel we should expect up to 200mm more rain in the next week or so, with isolated areas over the 200 mark. The New Year’s Eve celebrations will continue as planned unless there... [Read more]
Gold Coast Sunshine At Last
As mentioned earlier, the weather on the Gold Coast has been really strange this summer so far! The temps have been cooler throughout December and the amount of rain that has fallen in the region has been overwhelming! Gold Coast Continues To Boom

And it is just not the Gold Coast where things are looking good for tourism, Queensland... [Read more]
Palm Meadows Golf Course Re-Opens
The legendary Palm Meadows golf course has re-opened its doors after being closed down in questionable circumstances. A little about Palm Meadows: The course was laid out by leading Australian golfer Graham Marsh, who integrated water into play on 14 of the 18 holes, positioned 80 sand bunkers, three towering bamboo clumps and in excess of a thousand palm trees to sculpt an outstanding golfing experience. Palm... [Read more]
Gold Coast Carols At Burleigh Heads
Only a few weeks ago the annual Carols event that is held in the park at Burleigh Heads was scraped due to low sponsorship investment from local business. With the way the financial landscape is on the Gold Coast at the moment I think a few more events may have their heads on the chopping block. But this story does have a silver lining. Enjoying his morning coffee, the Jupiters Hotel and Casino managing... [Read more]
Gold Coast Summer Updates
2010/11 summer season so far! Schoolies In my honest opinion Schoolies gets a bad rap from the media and a small number of residents of Surfers Paradise jump and down a little to make it known that they are not happy so it must stop. To those residents, do you realise that you live in the entertainment heart of the one of Australia’s major tourist destinations? If you can not put up with the... [Read more]
